Case study

Building the visual identity

Getting this app off the ground meant building a visual identity first: a logo, colours, a typographic choice, iconography and so on. All of it within budget constraints, and within accessibility constraints too, colour contrast in particular.

Fuego visual identity: logotype, colour palette and typographic specimens in Rubik Bold, Rubik Semibold and Rubik Regular, each set on the phrase « The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog »

Building the UI Kit

Even though the UI Kit for this app held few components, since what shipped was an MVP, it still had to be built with room to grow quickly. So I set up the variables and created every component we needed, respecting the basic accessibility rules.

Building the interface

For the interface itself, we chose to split the files by EPIC and carry that way of working forward.
